Today is my sweet baby's 5th birthday. I can't believe she is already that old. I wish time would stand still for just a moment. I thought I would share her cute invitation with you. Greeting cards and invitations have become one of my most favorite parts of my job.

More Midland Dates

I have added some more Midland dates and times to my online calendar. I will actually be in Midland all weekend October 17, 18 and 19! I can try to squeeze in as many sittings and viewing appointments as possible because I only have one more date in November and December.
I have also decided not to have the annual pumpkin patch. David will be traveling in October and I just don't think I could pull it off. However, I will gladly meet you somewhere for cute pumpkin pics!

The Glowing Groom

I have shot many weddings in the last 5 years or so but I don't think I have ever seen a groom glow as much as the bride. This man is completely in love with his new bride and his love shined throughout the entire night. I LOVE the way he looks at her! This wedding was so much fun, so beautiful and so full of love. They each have amazing families and that is what made this amazing couple fall in love.

I've Got The Bug!

Well, I have been feeling it come on for a while but now I've got it bad! I've got the bug for another baby and little ones like this don't make it any easier. Isn't she the cutest thing?????? I loved every minute of her session. She is so sweet and tiny and her big brother is a handsome little guy too.

Whew!

I have been so busy! Christmas is going to be here before we know it, so I have been busy getting cards ready and taking lots of pictures! I am also kind of playing catch up because of all the rain we had last week. I couldn't believe how much we got! It definitely threw me off. Also, David and I shot a beautiful wedding in Fredericksburg this weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to post a few pictures from that soon!

No Fears My Friends!

My lab seems to be having some technical difficulties with the online proofing. Hopefully everything will be back to normal on Monday. I have had tons of concerned people wanting passwords or help. Don't worry my friends it's not you and you will not need passwords once the problem is fixed.

Only two more weeks!

As much as I love my sweet, sweet blessings, I am needing LOTS of patience to
deal with them these days. They have been pretty good to have been stuck at the studio all day long, all summer long but I think those days are over.
Next week we are going on vacation to Colorado where we can rest and relax in the cool mountains. Yeah right, the Taylor family.....relax..... the two don't quite go together!
After we come back, there is only one more week until school....I will miss them so much but I CAN'T WAIT and NEITHER CAN THEY!

Midland Schedule

Wow! I can't believe it is time to start thinking about Christmas pictures. We are already creating Christmas card proofs! EEK! Where does time go???? DFW Pictures!

I am planning a trip to the Dallas/Fort Worth area Labor Day Weekend. As of now, I will be there Friday through Monday to work with clients. I have several openings if you would like to make an appointment and take advantage to all the beautiful landscaping! Hope to see you there!

Summer Time Struggles!!

Ugh! I don't know about you but this summer is WEARING ME OUT!!! I love all the extra time with the kids and I love the all the rain but ugh! Trying to juggle the kids and pictures around the rain is tough.

Morgan & Bevin

I got a phone call yesterday from the mom of these beauties, and she let me know that her baby had "angel wings" in some of the pictures I took of her! At first, I wasn't sure what she was talking about, but when I looked at the pictures, I saw it immediately! That was completely unintentional, and a neat thing to find out!
In case you didn't notice, these are the girls on the front page of my website. Haven't they grown?! They are beautiful!

A little change of pace

These are a few of the pictures from the engagement session I had last night. The train was a little different for me, but I think the pictures turned out great! Steven and Patty were great to work with, and the love between them was very evident. Keep watching for their proofs to come online in the next few weeks! Enjoy!

Thank you so much for all of your comments. It means the world to me that you took the time to look at my website. I have made a few changes thanks to your wonderful suggestions! I hate to disappoint the majority but I took some pictures off of the Surprising section. I do want people to know that I offer sittings for women who want to surprise their husbands. This part of my business has grown and it is a true artform to be able to create beautiful, tasteful albums for the man of their dreams!

Midland visits

Whew! Another busy day in Midland. I got back in Lubbock around 10:00 last night. I am so grateful for all of my Midland customers that still continue to let me capture their families growing. I met a new customer yesterday who is expecting her first baby. We took maternity pics on a leopard rug!!!! Way tooo cute! Be on the lookout.
On my way home I stopped off at the Lamesa Walmart....I know, GREAT shopping! I bought red and black toole. I am working on a fun idea for all the Texas Tech Red Raider fans. Watch for more details!

A whole new world

Okay guys. This blogging thing is completely new for me. I don't think I have ever actually sat down long enough to read someone else's blog much less write my own. I'll try to keep it as interesting and entertaining as my life really is.
